Payment, Cancellation & Membership Policy

General expectations for payments, scheduling, memberships, and related website transactions.

Effective date: May 1, 2026

This page provides general website-level information about payments, cancellations, memberships, public transaction flow, and billing-related expectations. Specific pricing, invoices, checkouts, service pages, and signed agreements may include additional or controlling terms.

Quick overview

Lightning VIP is a cash-based practice. Website payment flow, appointment scheduling, memberships, and inquiry-based services may each involve different billing or cancellation expectations.

Cash-based care

Lightning VIP generally operates on a cash-based model, which means direct fees may apply for appointments, memberships, forms, programs, and other services.

Outside costs may still apply

Labs, medications, imaging, referrals, outside specialists, and other third-party services may have separate costs that are not included in website pricing unless expressly stated.

Specific written terms control

Checkout pages, invoices, membership enrollment pages, intake forms, and signed agreements may contain additional or more specific terms that control the transaction.

General payment expectations

When a service, appointment, membership, intake requirement, form, or program requires payment, the amount due may be presented through the website, a checkout page, an invoice, a membership enrollment path, or another written billing communication.

Payment may be required before a service is confirmed, before access begins, before a recurring membership is activated, or before certain follow-up work is performed. If a payment path shows a specific amount, recurring charge, installment option, or due date, those displayed terms apply to that transaction unless another written agreement states otherwise.

Lightning VIP may use third-party payment processors to support website transactions. Payment processors may have their own terms, fees, timing, and security practices.

Appointments, cancellations, and no-shows

Scheduling expectations matter because appointment time is reserved specifically for the person booking it.

Appointment timing

If the website, booking flow, checkout, or appointment confirmation includes specific timing requirements for booking, rescheduling, or cancellation, those terms apply to that appointment.

Missed appointments

Late cancellations, missed appointments, or repeated no-shows may result in fees, loss of reserved time, delayed rebooking, or additional review before future scheduling.

Operational changes

Lightning VIP may need to reschedule, convert, or adjust an appointment if clinical, staffing, vendor, technology, or other operational considerations require it.

Memberships and recurring payments

If you enroll in a membership, installment plan, recurring payment path, or program with an ongoing billing structure, your checkout page, enrollment page, invoice, or signed agreement may specify timing, duration, renewal, cancellation rules, minimum terms, and other billing conditions.

Where a recurring payment is authorized, you are responsible for maintaining accurate payment information and reviewing any membership-specific terms before enrollment.

If membership availability is limited, full, paused, or changed, Lightning VIP may direct you to another next step instead of immediate enrollment.

Refunds, credits, and exceptions

Refunds, credits, transfers, or exceptions are governed by the written terms shown at checkout, in invoices, on enrollment pages, or in signed agreements. Unless a transaction explicitly states otherwise, Lightning VIP may treat reserved time, administrative setup, completed visits, digital processing, and already-started services as non-refundable.

Nothing on this page guarantees a refund, waiver, or exception unless Lightning VIP confirms it in writing.

Coaching, speaking, and organizational requests

Coaching, speaking, and organizational partnership requests may use separate inquiry flows and separate payment or contract structures. A public inquiry submission does not guarantee approval, booking, or automatic access to services.

If a coaching package, speaking engagement, or organizational partnership proceeds, the final payment and scope terms may be handled through a distinct agreement, invoice, or proposal.
