Know which path fits before you choose.
Lightning VIP has more than one path. These distinctions help visitors avoid confusing patient care, coaching, speaking, and organizational requests.
i
Medical care
Symptoms, prescriptions, screenings, chronic care, urgent concerns, or a provider relationship.
Start with an appointment.
ii
Deeper root-cause work
Hormones, metabolism, gut health, inflammation, fatigue, or patterns that need more than a quick answer.
Explore functional medicine and focused care paths.
iii
Not medical care
Health coaching, speaking, media, and organization requests have separate inquiry paths so the right request reaches the right place.
Use the appropriate inquiry form.
Most Asked First
The questions people need answered before booking.
Start here when you need the practical basics: payment, location, appointment type, and the correct first step.
Do you take insurance?
Lightning VIP is a cash-based practice, which allows for a more direct and personalized care experience without the limitations of a traditional insurance-based model. Labs, medications, imaging, or outside services may have separate costs depending on what is recommended.
What states do you serve?
Lightning VIP’s medical services currently operate in Nevada only. Non-medical health coaching is available nationwide.
What is the first step for medical care?
For medical care, the first step is the appointment. This allows Dr. Lightning to review your current concerns, symptoms, history, and goals before recommending the most appropriate next step.
For health coaching, speaking, media, or organization requests, use the correct inquiry path so the request can be routed properly.
Are visits virtual or in person?
Lightning VIP offers both telehealth and in-person care, depending on the service, the patient’s needs, and what is clinically appropriate. Many visits can be handled virtually, while some concerns may require in-person care or follow-up.
The Journey
Care should feel clearer after the first step.
The FAQ should not push every visitor into every service. It should help each person understand the right next move.
1
Book the right starting point
Most medical questions begin with an appointment so Dr. Lightning can understand what is happening.
2
Review the full picture
Symptoms, goals, history, medications, labs, and lifestyle context help shape the recommendation.
3
Leave with direction
The goal is a clearer plan, not guessing which service, program, or next step fits your needs.
Medical Care
Patient care questions with practical answers.
These answers apply to people seeking medical care through Lightning VIP as patients.
What if I am a returning patient?
If you are returning after a gap in care, updated forms, agreements, or re-enrollment steps may be required depending on the service you are re-entering. The best next step is still to book the appointment so the office can guide you correctly.
What is the difference between primary care and functional medicine?
Primary care focuses on diagnosis, treatment, chronic condition management, medication review, preventive care, screenings, urgent concerns, and routine medical support.
Functional medicine is a separate root-cause approach that goes deeper into patterns involving hormones, metabolism, gut health, inflammation, nutrient deficiencies, stress, and long-term optimization. These services are separate and may be booked and billed separately.
Do I need labs first?
Not always. Some patients can begin with a straightforward path, while others may need deeper testing to better understand what is driving their symptoms. Your appointment helps determine whether labs should come first and which type of testing is actually appropriate.
Are primary care memberships always available?
Membership availability may vary. If enrollment is limited or currently full, the office can guide you toward the most appropriate next step when you book or inquire. The clearest move is still to begin with the appointment so your needs can be reviewed properly.
Can I book only for weight, hormones, or functional concerns?
Yes. Many patients come in with a focused concern such as weight, hormones, energy, gut health, inflammation, or metabolic support. The appointment helps determine whether that concern belongs under primary care, functional medicine, a focused service path, or another recommendation.
Coaching & Speaking
Non-medical support and requests that need the right form.
These offerings are connected to Lightning VIP, but they are not the same as booking patient medical care.
Is health coaching medical care?
No. Health coaching is a non-medical support service focused on behavior change, lifestyle strategies, habits, supplements, and natural wellness follow-through. It does not replace diagnosis, treatment, or prescription-based medical care.
How does health coaching begin?
Coaching begins through the coaching interest form, not through a medical appointment. That helps determine fit, state, goals, and whether coaching is the right path or whether another service should come first.
How do I book Dr. Lightning for speaking?
Speaking engagements are handled through the speaking inquiry form. That is the best place to share your organization, event type, audience, date, and goals so availability and fit can be reviewed correctly.
Do you offer primary care support for businesses or corporate partners?
Yes. Lightning VIP can explore primary care partnership options for select businesses, executive teams, and corporate partners who want a more direct path to routine medical care, follow-up, preventive support, and continuity for the people they are responsible for.
This is not the same as a speaking request. It is a conversation about primary care access and an ongoing care relationship for an organization or partner group.
Important Notes
A few boundaries that protect the care process.
The FAQ should make the next step easier, but it should not replace clinical review, emergency care, or direct communication with the office.
i
Urgent symptoms
Do not use the website, inquiry form, or FAQ page for emergencies. For urgent symptoms or emergencies, seek immediate medical care.
ii
Personalized advice
General website information cannot diagnose, treat, or replace an appointment. Personalized recommendations require proper clinical review.
iii
Best next step
Medical care begins with appointment booking. Coaching, speaking, media, and organization requests should use their appropriate inquiry paths.
Ready?
Take the next step with clarity.
For medical care, start with an appointment. For service details, review the service menu. For coaching, speaking, media, or organizational support, use the appropriate inquiry path.
