Speaking & Event Inquiry Terms
General terms and boundaries for speaking requests, event inquiries, and educational engagement submissions.
Effective date: May 1, 2026
This page explains how speaking and event requests are handled through the Lightning VIP website, what an inquiry does and does not mean, and what should be expected before any engagement is considered confirmed.
Quick clarity
Speaking requests are reviewed separately from medical care and coaching so each request can be routed appropriately.
Inquiry is not booking
Submitting a speaking inquiry does not reserve a date, confirm availability, or create a contract.
Reviewed for fit
Requests may be reviewed for topic fit, timing, audience, format, budget, and overall alignment.
Separate agreement required
Confirmed speaking engagements require separate terms covering scope, fees, timing, recording, travel, and deliverables.
Nature of the service
Speaking, training, workshop, panel, webinar, and event participation requests are educational or organizational services, not patient medical services. Website submission of an inquiry is intended to begin a review process, not to create a provider-patient relationship or guarantee an appearance.
Lightning VIP may receive inquiries from universities, businesses, conferences, community organizations, healthcare entities, leadership groups, and other event hosts. Each request may be evaluated on its own facts and practical constraints.
What organizers should expect
The goal is to create clarity early so event planning is handled professionally.
Availability review
Dates, timing, format, and logistics must be reviewed before availability can be confirmed.
Scope review
The final scope may depend on whether the request is for a keynote, panel, workshop, webinar, moderated conversation, or another format.
Written confirmation
No event is considered confirmed until the relevant parties have agreed in writing to the terms.
Fees, travel, and materials
Speaking fees, deposits, payment timing, travel requirements, rehearsal expectations, supporting materials, and any on-site or virtual production needs should be addressed through the specific event agreement. Different formats may require different pricing and logistics.
If travel is involved, the event agreement should also address transportation, lodging, per diem if applicable, and related responsibilities.
Recording, publicity, and cancellations
Recording rights, photography, publicity usage, promotional approvals, interview add-ons, media use, and related permissions should be handled through the event agreement. Cancellation, rescheduling, force majeure, and postponement terms should also be addressed in writing before the event is treated as final.
Website inquiry language does not replace the signed contract.
Boundaries and non-emergency use
Speaking and event inquiry forms are not patient-care channels and should not be used to submit medical concerns, emergency questions, or sensitive clinical issues. Public event inquiries should stay focused on the event, audience, logistics, and request purpose.
Lightning VIP may decline requests that are not a fit, are incomplete, raise scheduling or safety concerns, or otherwise do not align with the scope of the offering.
